Adios!

goodbye Pictures, Images and Photos

Dear Blogpals,

With my contest entry's publication at Lainy's Musings for the Yaman GenSan 2009 celebration, it is with deep regret that I am indefinitely putting a halt to all my online activities- blog updating across my four blogs, dropping of cards, commenting and the like.

Blogging shall be taking a backseat for reasons that I can not disclose for now.

I thank you all for your heart-warming support and for sharing glorious blogging hours with me.

I look forward to sharing wonderful blogging moments again with you sometime in the near future.

All the Best,
Lainy a.k.a Scotty's Princess

Happy Birthday, Mystique!

My cousin Michelle a.k.a Mystique of Mystique's Moments had slowly learned the ropes of blogging a couple of months back.Being physically apart for years now, blogging sure paved the way for us to bridge the gap between distance and separation.

As cousins, we basically had the same inclinations towards family, beliefs, religion and other sort of stuffs which made up the totality of our own personas.

Mystique and I practically grew up together. When we were growing up, we used to share almost the same dreams. But as persons, we were somehow of extreme personalities which made each of us unique. Mystique is the extrovert type; I am not. In so many ways, we have been different but still share the same likeness in a lot of things.

Each individual have different lives to live. We've tread on different paths. She had to spread her wings and had to leave her family behind in the province to reach her own dreams. This is somewhat of a sacrifice but on the other hand, independence was rightfully learned and earned.

A lot of milestones and family celebrations were missed. Her birthday is one of those occasions wherein I would want to celebrate life with her. But since we are separated by distance, my physical presence wouldn't be possible.

Thank God blogs were invented! At least, I still would be able to uniquely celebrate with her on this special occasion.

Today, I am sending you my warm wishes and I pray for the fulfillment of your dreams and aspirations. May you continue to grow steadfast in your faith and continue to grow in God's loving grace!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Miss yah and love yah!

Rest in Peace, MJ!

This is a quick post... (about to leave for work)

I was shocked to know that the famous and legendary pop superstar Michael Jackson is confirmed dead at the age of 50 after he was rushed at the UCLA Medical Center for cardiac arrest.

Two months ago, the pop icon had been planning a series of comeback concert tour in London. With his sudden and unexpected death, this wouldn't materialize now.

Let us all pray for the repose of MJ's soul.

May you rest in peace, MJ!

Welcome to the Family, Ewoks!

Yes. Cloth diapers really are THAT comfortable. (small graphic) Pictures, Images and Photos

I officially welcome the family's baby here in my blog.

Ewoks is the family's apple of the eye. He has changed our home's atmosphere. You can often see each one of us playing with him or just talking with him. We bought him of the stuffs he need everyday like soap, shampoo, powder, comb, clothes, and he was the first ever user of my hair drier, LOL.

Though Ewoks keeps us all busy cleaning up his sh*t all over the house, we still treat him like a true baby.

Take a look at him taking a pose infront of the camera:

He's not very good looking here after all the running here and there. You should see him after taking his bath, LOL!

Yes siree!

Ewoks is a 3-month old Shih Tzu puppy. He has a very thick silky fur. At first, I really don't want to hold him for the fear that I'll get asthma attacks. But what the heck! Puppy or no puppy, I always have the attacks!

My mother loves him so dearly and she misses him very often. My siblings and I loves to play with him! He is just so adorable! I can't wait to have his hair tied up in pony tail, lol!

Thank you Pictures, Images and Photos

My Brother's Birthday Celebration

Blogging sure gave us all an opportunity to chronicle everything that's happening with our lives and what's working up in our heads. Putting down into writing every important or trivial events give meaning to self-expression. It not only became a hobby but a real passion to most bloggers.

For me, blogging is an avenue to express one's self, share and learn from other people's experiences. I may not be the best blogger around but the learnings I've gained in exercising this passion is something that can not be taken away from me.

There's no special reason for this post. I can't help but ask myself: Is my brother Utog's birthday celebration worth publishing here at my blog? Of course it is! His birthday celebration was one of the reasons I got totally stressed up because I singlehandedly did all the preparations.

Whew!

But it's all over and done with. I am back to my feet and I'd like to share some mementos with you ;-)

Do take a look at these photos:

Friday Fill- Ins #128

I've missed two Friday Fill-In postings because of the two hospital confinements I got last week. Now here's my FFI for this week:

ffi

  1. I grew up thinking that when one plunges into marriage, it's true love... That's not the case for some.
  2. Windmill on the Hill was the last website I was at before coming here.
  3. Why don't you mind your own business?
  4. Doing a little bit of stretching and some exercises daily since I got out of the hospital helps me relax.
  5. Thanks for the prayers for my speedy recovery. It meant a helluva lot to me!
  6. Office politics is inevitable but I still find overlapping of power very off-putting. That sure sucks!
  7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just relax, tomorrow my plans include reporting to work as usual and Sunday, I want to go to the mall after attending the Sunday worship service!
